Kindergarteners painted their water and sand with tempera paint one week. The next week they did footprints with brown tempera paint.

Sea Creatures
1st graders drew a sea creature with pencil, outlined with a black crayon, and painted with liquid watercolor.
Patterned Landscapes
2nd graders drew landscapes, added pattern, outline with Sharpie, colored with media of choice (color pencils, crayons, markers, beeswax crayons, and/or color sticks).
Birds and Birch Trees
4th graders painted their sky with watercolors, their birch trees with black tempera paint on white paper, and their birds with their media of choice (watercolors, beeswax crayons, color sticks, markers, colored pencils, etc.).
Patterned Trees
5th graders created Patterned Trees using warm and cool colors. These trees took awhile, but the students were very proud of their works of art!
